The American Pit Bull Terrier has come a long way to be depicted as a "pussy" breed that should only be viewed as lovable and "cuddly", and who's not interested in being a contender. The fact is, it is! It's always been true and yes so is the lovable part. But, the question is; How can it be allowed to display this game trait in the most "humane" way, so that it is not attacked so viciously by the media and legislators? Can it be done? Of course, you've got weight pulling competitions, conformation shows and other forms of competing.
